What Makes Our School Unique?
Welcome to Thomas A. Edison Elementary School! Edison has an electrifying school culture in which the expectation to perform at a high level is emphasized throughout the learning community. Teachers are expected to provide engaging and rigorous instruction daily. Students are expected to participate in engaging and challenging learning experiences daily.
Edison is a learning community in which all of the stakeholders are involved in the promotion of learning for everyone. Since lifelong learning is a goal for students, we also make it a goal for teachers, parents, and community leaders. Teachers must continue to improve teaching practices, analyze and use data, and use technology to enhance learning. Parents and community leaders are encouraged to participate in school sponsored activities to help students succeed.
I invite you to visit with us at Thomas A. Edison Elementary and feel the electricity. You will discover that teaching and learning is really a bright idea.
