Welcome to a special learning experience, Chadwell Elementary School. Here you will find a committed and experienced staff, supportive parents, and an encouraging community. Students are taught to practice "Courtesy, Cooperation, and Control" and are reminded each day with our daily pledge to "be the best that they can be."
Chadwell School is a great place to work and learn. The climate of high expectations and genuine concern for students is demonstrated each and every day. Teachers are expanding their learning and teaching by utilizing current research. Students are engaged in meaningful learning experiences each day.

PENCIL Partners
PENCIL Foundation, a nonprofit organization, links community resources with Nashville public schools. A PENCIL Partner is a business or other community organization that teams up with a Metro school to volunteer time and donate resources that promote student success.

Who Attends Our School?
Students attending Chadwell reside north of downtown Nashville and are zoned to Maplewood High School. The elementary schools in the Maplewood cluster are: Caldwell Enhanced Option, Chadwell, Hattie Cotton, Glenn Enhanced Option, Shwab, and Tom Joy. The middle schools are Jere Baxter and Gra-Mar.
