What Makes Our School Unique?

McMurray is fortunate to have an incredibly diverse student population. We have students from all over the world, speaking a total of 36 different languages. McMurray is the ELL middle school center for the Overton cluster. For many years our school has been devoted to academics and extra-curricular activities. This tradition has not changed. Students experience a rich, learning environment that celebrates diversity. McMurray continues to be committed to a strong athletic program while providing a quality curriculum that prepares students for success in high school. McMurray offers Algebra I, Spanish I, and Physical Science for high school credit. McMurray’s tradition of excellence in education continues.

McMurray is a Title I school, receiving federal funds to provide our students with the best possible materials and technology. Our goal is to create a strong partnership with parents and the community to help our students become successful, productive members of society.
