What Makes Our School Unique?

Sylvan Park Paideia Design Center is committed to academic excellence. The faculty and staff endeavor to create positive academic and social experiences.

School is an important part of children’s lives. We strive to provide an environment where children are presented with daily opportunities that promote self-confidence, self-discipline, and foster a good self image.

Our program offers active learning, quality literature, hands-on-science and math, problem solving, as well as critical thinking. “What is best for the best is best for all,” summarizes our educational program.

Teachers facilitate each student in making wise choices, working to their fullest potential, and developing a strong work ethic.

The Paideia School is student centered and built on three sturdy columns-Directed teaching, Coaching, and Seminar. Paideia is a greek word meaning the proper upbringing of the child. The goals are to prepare students to earn a living, to be a good citizen and to be a lifelong learner.

Our staff is trained in the Paideia method and it will be on-going training. We are very excited about our program.
