The Metropolitan Nashville Board of Education announces a vacancy in the following position:

ROUTE COORDINATOR  -  REGULAR EDUCATION
Transportation Department
12 months – Grade 10  -  Base Hourly Rate - $18.89
Split-Shift

QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma or G.E.D.  Five (5) years of increasing responsible school bus transportation experience with two (2) years in the area of leadership, administration and dispatching.

Coordinates all aspects of the regular education transportation program to ensure all eligible students receive transportation services in accordance with established polices and procedures. Knowledge of all facets of school transportation program including proficient experience with routing software; excellent communication skills both verbally and written; ability to deal effectively with parents, school administration and governmental officials.

Consideration will be given to all who apply.  Exact placement on the salary schedule depends upon qualifications and experience.
