The Metropolitan Nashville Board of Education announces a vacancy in the following position:

Multi-Media Designs Specialist
Public Information and Community Relations
12 months – Grade 9 – Base hourly rate - $16.72

Employment Standards:

Associates Degree from an accredited college or university; proven experience in graphic design and multi-media. (Bachelors Degree preferred). Proficiency in creative software such as Quark, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat and Microsoft Office.

Responsible for organizing and accomplishing print design and web-related graphic arts work; Plans activities to facilitate the visualizations for promotional and informational layouts, print guides, brochures, maps, internet, manuals and graphic illustrations. Evaluates and directs all graphic presentation required related to the website. Must be able to meet the demands of creativity and coordination of diversified duties; expected to exercise considerable independent judgment.
