The Metropolitan Nashville Board of Education announces a vacancy in the following position:
IT Telephony Technician
IT Department
12 Months – Grade 10 – Base hourly rate $18.89

Employment Standards:
Documented evidence of sufficient formal post-secondary education, training or experience beyond High School Diploma in voice communications, related technological equipment operation and the upgrade and repair of equipment; LAN/WAN design. Three (3) years of related experience. Detailed knowledge of telephony administration and support, current telephony hardware and software and total systems administration and maintenance are required. Valid Tennessee Driver’s License and personal insured vehicle required.
Serve as resource to the IT Director on telephone configurations and related issues; serves on departmental or District project teams as requested; installs, troubleshoots and maintains voice communications in all District facilities; installs and configures telephone and dial plans; makes program changes in telephony software for messages, dial plans and personnel.
