The Metropolitan Nashville Board of Education announces a vacancy in the following position:

SENIOR ACCOUNTANT
Family and Community Engagement Office
12 months – Grade 11 – Base hourly rate - $21.46

GRANT FUNDED: The length of employment in this position will not exceed the length of the grant from which it is funded.

Employment Standards:

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Accounting, Finance Administration, Business Administration or related field. Three (3) years experience in grants management, accounting and/or training.

Responsible for all accounting procedures for all grants and related financial documents; produces and files all monthly, quarterly and yearly reports related to grants management; assists with filing requests from Federal, State and local organizations; establishes data collection and financial reporting procedures; makes financial deposits and maintains related records; presents monthly accounting report to department head; provides and/or trains instructors on financial education and other instructional training sessions as needed.
