Mr. Dooley was born in Memphis, TN, and educated in the Nashville Public Schools. He is a graduate of Pearl-Cohn High School, and has earned a B.S. degree and a Master of Education degree from Tennessee State University.

Mr. and Mrs. Dooley are the proud parents of three wonderful children: Imani, Jerome Jr., and Adonis
