Mr. John Conditt was born in Tullahoma, Tennessee but was raised in Shelbyville, Tennessee, which is the Walking Horse Capital of the World. Coach Conditt attended Austin Peay State University where he received his degree in Physical Education, General Science, and Biology.

Coach Conditt has been a high school football coach and baseball coach in Texas as well as coaching football and softball in Tennessee. Coach Conditt is the President of the Middle Tennessee Softball Coaches Association.

His hobbies include snow skiing and metal detecting. He lives on a small farm in Smith County and raises goats, chickens and enjoys gardening.

He has three sons and one daughter and five grandkids. He attends the College Hills Church of Christ in Lebanon.
