Ms. Evelyn L. Davidson (Queen Of Beauty) was born in Nashville,TN where she was reared by loving parents and grandparents. Part of her early schooling was completed in the Catholic schools of Chicago until her return to the public schools of Nashville. This was during the period of segregation. She graduated from the illustrious Pearl High School, home of the Tigers. She received her BA from Roosevelt University in Chicago and her MA from Trevecca. She taught in the Chicago Public Schools for twenty years; she also served as a college counselor for a period of time. Upon her return to Nashville, she began teaching at Overton HS. Her only other school has been Antioch HS where she is the sponsor of the yearbook. She loves her students and is loved by them. Her passion is to do whatever she can to send confident, intelligent, responsible, and caring young people into the world. She is a Christian and a member of Fifteenth Avenue Baptist Church where she is an accomplished soloist. She is the mother of one son, Karlton, who is an AHS graduate. |
