A native of Mississippi, Ms. Corley received her B.S. degree from Mississippi State University and her M. Ed. degree from the University of Louisville. She has more than twenty years of experience teaching high school and middle school English in Kentucky, Missouri, Florida, and Tennessee. Her background also includes teaching Gifted/ Talented students for several years.

Ms. Corley is married with two adult children and two grandsons. Outside the classroom, she enjoys viewing classic movies, traveling to historical places, and spending time with family.
