"Success Is Not What I Do With My Life, But What I Do With The Lives Of Others"

As Assistant Principal, I serve students in grades 9 - 12 whose last names begin with "P" through "Z".  Home is in Decatur, Alabama, where I grew up.   Later, I moved to Texas, and lived there for 16 years before moving to Nashville.  I earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, and my educational certification in Business Education and Vocational Office Technology from Texas A & M University.  I completed my Master of Education in Mid-Management and Educational Administration at Texas A & M University.

While living in Texas, I taught Office Administration Co-op, a school-to-work program, and served as Assistant Principal at Hillsboro Junior High School.  After moving to Nashville, I taught Accounting and Computer Applications in Robertson County at Springfield High School and Volunteer State Community College.  In 2000, I joined MNPS, teaching Business Education and Computer Applications at Baxter Alternative Learning Center.  Before becoming Assistant Principal at Antioch High School in 2004, I served for 3 years as the Coordinator at Baxter Alternative Learning Center.

Other than my work with and love for children and our youth in Davidson County, I enjoy landscaping, music, reading, and spending time with family and friends.  I am an avid "ROLL TIDE",
University of Alabama football fan!
